I'm not sure that this is the place for it but i'd like to reintroduce myself to this site and more importantly the 2005+ portion of the site.

I've had my car for a few weeks now and i just happened to think about this site. This is my first NEW car. Its a 2006 v6 premium stang. After three days with the car the antitheft light started flashing and they had to replace the transponder in the ignition but only after trying several other things and keeping the car for 7 days. So i finally got the car back and all is well.

My name is Ben and i'm 24 years old. I'm from Louisiana and have always loved mustangs. I should also mention that i'm working on a 1969 Mustang coupe and I run the 1969 supersite: http://www.69stang.com

Heres a pic of the 06 and a link to some more pictures. The windows have been tinted since these pictures.

And heres a link to my 69 coupe: http://www.1969stang.com/gallery/mystang

Well its supposed to flash until you actually try to start it. Mine would stay lit up and it would not let me start the car. I was able to start it after about 30 key turns one time but after that i had to have it towed by road side assistance. Needless to say i was a little PO'ed, and was thinkin all kinds of crazy things like switchin over to toyota..... Heh heh.

I got my new car twice.... my fuel pump went out on the first day. They had mine over the weekend.
Good thing is My Wife did not want me to get this car and She thinks She jinxed it. LOL
Hey Congrats and enjoy it, I am sure it will all be smooth sailing from here on out

For the latest news, stangsunleashed.com (their forums are dead thogh).
For the forums, I'll check some of the others every once ina while. (stangnet.com & corral.net)
The second most active forums for the '05+ (behind TMS) is AllFordMustangs.com.
