Well lets start with I'm going from Virginia Beach to just outside of Buffalo, NY. I make it into NY about 7 hours into the trip, 8 pm, rained the whole way up. I'm doing like 70-75 and all of a sudden BAM! No lights (head lights) everything in the car dies, except the motor still running fine. Message center shows low oil pressure, brake system failure. I pull over, brakes are like using manual brakes on a 60's series pickup truck going down a huge hill. I get stopped and turn the car off because of the low oil pressure warning. Nothiing works, no hazards, no lights (interior or exterior), no nothing...... except the radio lights are flashing on and off with the key out?...... I'm in BFE with no clue where (exactly)and it's a rain/sleet drizzle...... I start the car up to see if it would clear what's going on, no dice 3 or 4 times I did this. I looked around under the hood for a while and didn't find anything, nothing was even wet ( I was thinking possible short with all the rain) and made a few phone calls. After about 1/2 hour everything pops on and starts to work....... Very strange..... Aliens???? Kept the check engine light on so I know it kept codes and I was able to make it to my parents house 100 miles away. Took it to the dealer the next day and they pulled the codes and had no clue. I guess only one other person has had this problem from their tech support and it was a ground, so they recrimped the ground and made sure it was good. Everything seems to work fine now. I'm glad I wasn't rolling down some of the hills in PA and NY when this happened cause the brakes weren't for crap....... Sorry for the long read. Just a new problem.....

Sounds like a bad experience. I would have freaked. I hope it was fixed with your last vist, I know electrical problems can be a nightmare to fix/find.

Please do not try to bypass the language sensors

On the paperwork it says it was on connector C2280B at the SJB. The EEC had three codes and the ABS system had one. They recrimped that connection and reset the computer. We'll see how it goes, it was just pretty strange, this could be a real problem for someone at night in some traffic. I hope it's the last problem I have like this.
