I found these sweet looking pics of a screaming yellow 05 GT with the new Magnaflow catback system on the corral.net. Looks great and it also shows the entire underside of the car.

Anyway, it looks sweet. Want to hear it though, considering the already awesome sound. Is it worth those $500 extra?

 

10 RWHP for just the 'axle backs' alone...+ a wicked sound (from muffler swaps) yes the money is worth it.

Magnaflow will have 3 types:
Catback -regular
Axleback -regular
Catback - Magnapacks

Only difference between catback/axle back is more piping and 100 bones more.

Being that the stock system is 2.5" all the way back and its mandrel bend SS...its not worth the effort to catback it....

Guy from Magnaflow posted on Stangnet mentioned that the car didn't see the gains as in the previous years...due to the fact that the Sn95 cars have a 2.25 inch pipe from the get go, and the 05s is that much better, so less to improve apon.

He quoted "I've heard this setup, and if you think it sounds good stock, just WAIT till you've heard them with exhaust work"

Borla, bring out some STINGER Axlebacks...and FAST

 

Ah, thanks Boomer, forgot about the +10 rwhp. That's a cheap mod if anything.
