Thanks everyone. We both bust our *** working at jobs we hate to make it happen, so it's good to get a compliment or two.
Thanks. I wish I could've went to a good site to get a better background, but I spent too long detailing it to actually go anywhere lol. I use a Canon Rebel XT. I have a Sigma 18-50mm and also a Canon 75-300mm, whenever possible. The zoom lens is new and I can't wait to get out to a place where I can shoot at a full 300mm. I don't know why, but I just love car pictures at a long focal length. I always shoot cars using the largest aperture my lens will allow, to get the best possible DOF, and I never go above 200ISO. I always use a tripod, and all of these images were 3 exposure HDR. Some were tone-mapped, some were just optimized. Hope that helps.

I'm always up for meeting a fellow stanger. I'm off Sundays, though you'd better catch me soon, because my next purchase is going to be a jetboat, which is coming in the next month or so, so you won't be able to find me until boating season is over.
Actually, that's the WebElectric pony grill insert (which I believe they stopped production on) and Scott Drake fog light bezels.

If you havent already, try and get your hands on the Canon 85mm f/1.8 USM or the 50mm f/1.4L. They create some of the most amazing bokeh with their wide apertures. Anyway, we're getting into photographer geek talk, hehe. Great great shots, and beautiful cars. You've inspired me to go do some shooting.

I haven't updated it in a while. I'll post new ones when I get home.
Thanks for explaining, I shoot with a 20D as my primary camera and a 300D as my backup, usually doing glamour and fashion, but I've always had a love for car photography and could see you knew what you were doing. I just started applying HDR myself, to things other than landscape, and its a lot of fun.

I plan on getting some pictures at a better location. Somewhere where i can use my 300mm lens to get some good pictures like that. I just haven't had a lot of free time, and am still hunting for a good location. I think I've found a couple. I'll be sure to post them.
