Man...those painted mirrors DO look good.
I think I may just go with the painted overlays that cover half the mirror...but yeah the whole thing does look good.

You've got the right idea painting the lower grill bars and the mirrors. That'll be mod 1 for me. What'd that cost ya? Looks great

Your car looks great Love the painted mirrors. Would you please explain how to remove the door panels. I have removed door panels on several different cars/trucks in the past but nothing beats the voice of experience. Thanks in advance. Joe

$100. The body shop told me it would be 2.5 labor hrs if he took the parts off. I took it all off myself. Easy.

no door panels to remove. The mirror has it's own "panel" or cover in the reverse side. It just pops off. inside there you'll find a wiring harness and 3-7/16 nuts. Thats it!

I've been saying it all along: body colored mirrors make all the difference. It looks awesome, man.
I assume that one can reattach the mirrors so that they're just as secure as they were before - and without screwing up the power function...? Generally I hate doing mods to stuff like that or to the interior, cause it's always where squeaks and rattles seem to develop years down the road. Sort of like when you break a bone...that's always where the Arthritis sets in later.
