New to me Bullitt

I did post this in the Bullitt section but thought I'd do a more general post. Picked up my 09 Bullitt last week after going through a 2011 Camaro SS and 09 Corvette Vert. The Vette was just too much monthly and the Camaro drove like a brick on wheels. (traded it for the Vette after 600 miles I hated it that much!)

Anyway took this shot of my Highland Green Bullitt and thought it was really nice for an Iphone!

Excellent choice!! Congratulations!
I'm sure you are loving the feel of the car in comparison with the Camaro. When I was in the market for a 'newer' ride I test drove the new Camaro at the Motor Trend Greenville, SC show. I thought it would be like my Trans Am but the Camaro felt very large and heavy. My T/A felt like a small car in comparison. Then I drove the new Mustang and that was much more like it. It feels 'normal' and I picked up my GT/CS after the comparison. I also test drove the Charger. Outrageous weight and even bigger than the Camaro. The Mustang is a no-brainer IMO and obviously you feel the same way.
Enjoy the ride!

very nice ride man! Yeah I test drove a Camaro as well. I felt suffocated in that car. Terrible blind spots. Then I test drove a mustang and despite having driven one before(my dads 06 GT so I may be bias), I just felt at home in the mustang.

It was very difficult to see out of the Camaro. The "A" pillar is so wide I found myself moving to see around it!

I'm surprised Charlie has chimed in yet. He is Mr. Bullitt.

The Vette was a nice car; Atomic Orange with the 4LT package. It was a garage queen that I never drove and paid too much every month for. I've had a few Vettes-can't say I disliked any of them.

You can't really compare the two if you're shopping. What I can say is that the Corvette is very "look at me". Being a bit more humble I honestly felt uncomfortalbe driving it at times. (especially driving by the bus stops).

The Bullitt is a fun car and it seems to fit me better.

Very cool. Thanks for posting the reply. And the bullitt is much more low key except to most mustang owners. They should know better haha. Have fun with it!

Thanks! I've had a few Vettes and like I said I've always loved these Bullitts. I wanted one back on 2001 and never found the right one. This one won't be going anywhere for many years. Just seems right!

I think you made the right choice. Lower payments and something that will come out the garage more

Bullitts are one of my favorite stangs. They don't give that vibe of I bought this expensive car they say I found this car and I know a lot about it. That's probably why I love the mystic cobras and the bullitts.

Really nice ride, enjoy it in good health. I too recently (2 weeks ago) bought a 2006 GT Convertible after looking at the Challenger and Camaro. Didn't like the Camaro too hard to see out of it, I'm 6'4" and it didn't feel right. I also chose the Mustang over the Challenger because, well um, who wants a Chrysler. I liked the looks of the RT but the Mustang was of better quality. I kept thinking to myself why is a 2010 Challenger RT priced the same as a 2006 GT Conv. I realized because the GT is a better car.
