Well the stars must have been aligned just right because I wasn't planning on a mustang for a couple of years but with Ford offering the 0% for 72mo plus '06 being the last year for Legend Lime and there was one on the local lot just daring me to buy it. One thing led to another and here I am!

Here's my first impressions:

1. I couldn't be happier with the color combo - legend Lime and Charcoal.
2. I am pleasantly surprised with the stock exhaust - of course it can always be louder - maybe a future mod.
3. I wanted the spoiler delete but it doesn't bother me as much with the Lime.
4. I also wanted the Satin IUP but this one had Dark - in person it's not too bad, I can live with it.

Now here's some gripes:

1. Why doesn't the headrest have any tilt adjustment?
2. Why doesn't the seatbelt have any height adjustment? It's cutting me in the neck.
3. Needs more storage - how about an overhead console or something.
4. I do not like the shifter at all - needs to be taller.

Now in order to forget about gripes 1-5 above I just get in, roll the windows down and drive - then all is forgotten!

I agree I wish we had an overhead console, I was expecting a sunglass / garage door operner storage space right up top in front of the twin map lights. I would at least hope maybe some after market company would make us one???

I had a few things I would have like to had, but then I crank her up and hear that beautiful exhaust note and forget what it was I wanted, does that happen to anyone else???

congrats for sure!! I am supose to pick mine up this afternoon. I went with the auto tho. Not sure but my rims are different than yours. Mine are the painted cast aluminum17" what are yours?? Where are you from?

 

Ask your dealer for a seat belt extender. They are no cost, and it really helped me!

Welcome! nice car! get you a pro 5.0 shifter, it has an stick that is pretty tall and it is IMHO the best shifter on the market. Happy Cruising!

I love your car. Legend Lime looks awesome with those wheels. I'm in the same boat with the spoiler delete. Trying to figure out what to do with that. Considering buying another decklid and having it painted. I've yet to see pics of a clean spoiler deleted deck with plugs.

CAI - but want to avoid 93 octane so I'm interested in the Granatelli.
Exhaust - possibly SLP loudmouth.

you can get a tune that has 87,89,93 and just use 87 if you want.that tune in itself is awesome!!
