This is my first post on this. I've been looking at this site for about 4 months.

I was wondering if anyone has ordered a 2005 mustang in New Jersey. I've gone to 3 dealers so far and everyone of them want sticker for the or they'll take some money of the sticker then take it off the trade value of my 2002 Mustang GT. I just wanted to know if anyone ordered around here and got it cheaper then sticker.

Where in New Jersey are you? I live in Bergen County in Upper Saddle River. The Ford Dealers around here I like are Wyckoff Ford or Valley Ford in Ridgewood. They are both small town dealers.

I live in Rahway, NJ and the one dealer around here, BELL Ford, said that when they do get their 05s that they would only sell for MSRP or higher.

I'm from New Milford in Bergen County. I stoped by Mulane Ford in Bergenfield, All American Ford in Hackensack, and Park Ave Ford in Tenefly. Are there any dealers pricing them $500 dollars over invoice here or no. I love this site

Stay away from Bergen County dealers. I'm from Teaneck, and know AA Ford in Hackensack very well, as well as Mulane and Pistilli. AA is horrible. Salesmen are scumbags, and their service dept is completely incompitent. Problem with these dealers is this: (A) There is too much money in Bergen County to get a deal. If you don't buy it at sticker, someone who drives a Bentley and wants it for their kid will. (B) Corruption. I won't site exact sources, but those dealers are all "connected". Especially AA. They make plenty of money. I am in Norwalk CT now, and I like McMahon Ford a lot. Good people, honest people. It's about 1.5 hours from Bergen county, but it might be worth giving them a call. I also used to use Bethlehem Ford in Pa when I was in college. Good people.

JayC I agree with you about Bergen County its gotten out-of-control with the wealth around here. And the rest of New Jersey has gotten expensive too. Looks like we should be driving to other states for good deals.

Hello to all, i've been browsing for some time now and this is my first post. I'm from Mercer County and do business with Haldeman Ford on Rt. 130. It's a great dealership to buy a Ford from. I don't know how far you are away from there but it might be worth inquiring. My family has been doing business with them for more then 40 years so I am getting my mineral gray GT at invoice. I guess i'm lucky my father's best friend is the General Manager there

I have been to Haldeman Lincoln/Mercury (which is in Allentown Pa, maybe not the same owner?). They were trying to price-gouge on the Marauder at the time (when it first came out). Too bad that was a bust. I guess that's what they get. There was a pretty cute chick there, looked about 21-23, I think she was the sales manager or marketting or something. Though not too bright. Thought quoting outrageous markups they had in front of me was going to impress.

Pretty solid service Dept. though. And the salesmen were actually pretty nice. I had X-plan at the time, and didnt even know about it until they told me. I thought that was pretty noble.

Hey another thing I have been thinking of. If you buy in a city zone you would only have to pay 3% state sales tax. Does anyone know of a Ford Dealers in a 3% zone in New Jersey?

In North Jersey I order form the route 23 automall in Butler. They are great, and give lots of money to the local mustang club. If I am in SOuth Jersey I buy at Hollman Ford on route 73 in Mount Laurel. They also are very supportive of the local car clubs, and both have always given me great deals. My 2005 is on order from Hollman in south jersey and will be in in two weeks.

Bricktown is in Ocean County, or central Jersey, and is where I ordered my mustang. It's about an hour, or a little more depending on your speed, from Bergen County. I ended up ordering the mustang for 500 over invoice. Problem is the wait is around 4-6 months.

Larson Ford, Rt. 88 Bricktown NJ

Cool, I have mine on order from Hold-Up too. When did you order yours? I ordered on 8/17/04 and I still don't have a VIN or build date. They had a yellow 2005 there at their show on 9/12/04. It was open and you could sit in it.
