Not to criticize, as I know it is your car, but why?

I agree, more rubber, less metal, gives it that old school muscle car look!

How much lower did that drop the car? I know the GT/CS sits lower than a standard GT. Was reading a thread on the GT-H, they said it sat even lower and had to watch out for the speed bumps and pot holes.

Talk about old school, how about jacking the rear up and putting the wide 50's on the back.
Sorry about the hijack.

The GT/CS is only lower in the front fascia, the car itself does not sit lower.

Great looking Mustang

I like the 17" better also. Im just not a fan of the 18"+ wheels. The larger they are the less I like them

Of course that is just my opinion

235/55R17 tires allow you to get Goodyear TripleTred tires. I don't see them available for the 18 size.

Agreed, but still have to watch the lower front end on speed bumps, pot holes etc. With the 17's the whole car is lower just a bit more, as in the GT-H.

You would be right about that. Even with the 18", I find I have to watch closely the concrete parking stops.
