Well as some of you may or may not know (remember) ... I traded in my 05 MG GT about 4 months ago now. Well since then, while I love the 335i; the power is there and the torque is there (300hp, 300 lb-ft) ... theres just something about a Mustang, the sound of the V8, something ... that I can't get from the BMW. Well anyway I've got two really good deals on an 07 Redfire Gt .... and and 07 Black Gt. I know ultimately its my decision ... but I'm curious to "hear" which you guys would choose??? Red or Black.
Just for fun ... here is a picture of my "old" Gt .. and the new BMW ....

Well I traded the 05 ... first because it was an auto .. when I bought the car I didn't know how to drive stick-shift ... and when I learned I hated having an automatic mustang gt ... besides that ... I bought the 05 when I was in college, and when I got out I needed something more practical for work ... so I traded up. I've always been into mustangs ... so this time I'm getting this one as a "toy" ... so I want it to be "perfect" this time ....

It would be a toss up for me, atleast between those two colors. I would probably lean more towards black, with chrome wheels and some kind of striping.... It depends if you want to stripe it in any fashion, because IMO there aren't many colors that look good on top of the Redfire.

Redfire. I've never been into "red" cars untill I saw Redfire on the mustang. I love the way it looks sitting in the sun. Has a dark reflection at different angles.
I had a black car before the Mustang. I LOVE LOVE LOVE black. And absolutly hate the upkeep.

I think black probably looks the best on most cars - when they're clean. To me, that's for about 15 minutes after a wash.
Then the layer of dust would drive me nuts (less visible on Tungsten Grey.)
Since you already own a black car in So. Cal. you know how hot the interior gets (especially during this past week) and you know what it's like trying to keep 'em clean.
If you're willing to continue to do so, go with the black. Gibby's sure looks GREAT, doesn't it?

if i was in your situation i'd get the black one, black out the hood and put a shaker on it. i've always wanted a car with a shaker hood. but thats my dream. i have a red car and sadly i dont wash it much haha
