New Goodies

Just Received some new goodies from midwest for the 06 (Strut tower covers, radiator extenstions (Factory finish), and intake cover). Let me just say for the most part the installation was a snap (pun intended). The quality is perfect as well as the fit. I had to adjust the intake cover mount but other than that everything just fit.

Looks good! It looks a little funny with the radiator cover extensions being brand new with the older, slightly faded black plastic of the radiator cover. I like the plenum cover, unique color combination.

Thanks for the compliments. Everything came from Midwest Auto Gear. Some Back to Black should take care of the color difference on the rad cover. I chose the color scheme on the intake to match my car it is Tunsgten with the ICAP inside, so I went with the tungsten body with black ribs and a redfire center stripe to match the interior.

Nice engine compartment finishing!

I've been thinkin of doing up the radiator cover & the rad cover extensions in body paint to match my Redfire exterior.

Anyone ever done this? Might look kewl versus the painted, exposed metal framing already there.

I like the midwest products, they look good, and like they belong on the car. Ive also heard that they are great to deal with. Ill probably be buying plenum, fuel rail, and mirror covers. I think they should expand their line, I really like their products.

I ordered my extensions from MAG on 08/07 and guess who just left? UPS delivered at 6PM on Friday! Talk about customer service!

Congrats. Now go put a beer in the freezer then go install the extensions. Come back in a wait 30 more minutes then enjoy a cold frosty one. Seriously it took all of 5 minutes to install them and I was not hurrying. In fact I had everything installed in 30 min and that included adjusting the mounts for the intake cover.

Why can't have a beer before hand? It doesn't say anything in the instructions about having to wait? LOL

I will post a photo Saturday.

There is no warm or hot beer in this house, fridge in the garage, one in the bar in great room and kitchen upstairs. Keep in mind I have the WMS air intake, but these fit very nicely under the hood and tuck well enough I will keep them. I always hated the look when I popped the hood since day 1.
