Very nice looking cars GTO6466. I saw one just like your 64 featured on Classic Muscle Cars the other night on The Speed Channel. They actually said that the GTO started the muscle car era. Then the Mustang came along to start a new segment of muscle cars the Pony car. Enjoy the mustang, I still have a few more days to wait for my GT............Welcome

Welcome to the site. My dad has so many stories of his first car (Not to make you feel old or anything...). His GTO was a great car according to him. I think I agree with him. The GTO was nothing to be ashamed of in the least. I'm glad to see that you have an open mind.

Hope the picture shows up, Here is the 64

Even though I am only 25 and primarily drive Fords, I can actually appreciate classic american cars such as yours. That car is sweet

Welcome to the mustang source

I love American Muscle cars strait across the board. I actually have always been into Chevys but then I purchased a 91 5.0 as a project car, then fell in love with the '05 Mustang and officially caught the Mustang bug. :drive:

Amen, brother. All beautiful cars are OK in my book. I happen to hover around the Mustangs, but wouldn't refuse a GTO, Barracuda, Hemi Charger or any of the classics.

Thanks to everyone for the welcome and the awesome comments.
Great people here!!!!!!!!! To answer a few questions 38 SPECIAL, I am from Bucks county Pa (North of philly) I live in Trevose. And HISPONY I am eastern Pa. Are there any Mustang clubs in this area ? I sure would like to meet some of the excellent Mustang owners. Seems all you people like cars as a whole and not just one sided as some car people are. Thanks again for the warm welcome!!!!!!!!!!

Great looking cars. I"m sure you will have plenty of fun in the 05 you purchased. I saw that American Muscle Car on Speed the other night also that featured the 64 GTO. Was a very interesting show. Someday I hope to add a new model Mustang to sit beside my 65. Welcome to the forums.
