Good to have you here, Dave. Love the color. Evereytime I see that mineral grey I get misty eyed thinking about my '01 mustang.
Congratulations on your new ride.

We don't have to
over not having our 2001 Mineral GT with torque thrust (Bullitt) wheels. It just moved from our driveway to our cousins.

Welcome Dave! I too am a GM fan turned Ford Blue. Nothing against the GM line per se; just that GM has grown so out of touch with the real-world, everyday performance market.
After all - how many can afford a $40k+ Caddy that is 'performance oriented'? And for me, the name "Cadillac" NEVER brought to mind images of affordable, performance oriented, sporty automobiles. And what they are offering now (CTS-V, etc) are not what the majority of the buying public wants.
Regarding another GM product - how many can buy a $50k Vette? They are gorgeous and the new Z06 promises to be a real ground pounder - but at most likely ~$60,000???? Too rich for my blood!
GM has simply forgotten (at least for now) the 300hp affordable ($25k) buyer.
So, welcome to what I've found to be the absolute friendliest and most informative performance enthusiast/Mustang board on the entire Web. These guys are great sources of information and Brad does an excellent job as do all the moderators. I would also like to encourage you to become a Team Mustang Source member by donating $15 (or more if you like) to the Site. It is worth every single penny!
Again, glad to have you here.

and a redesigned GTO for 07
Pontiac has lost total reality with that GTO or the 07, looks to ricy to me, nothing retro at all, how bout some stacked headlights, anything please, I dont care if it had 7000 HP, i would not buy one, looks like crap
Have fun with your 05! You made the right move. I was in that same boat, an 04 or 05?
I being one that has jump over the fence twice, coming back to ford has been an enjoyable feeling that I will never forget! Happy Trails!!
Mark, your car looks great , in pics anyway, I have never seen a gray one in person, actually, i have only seen a dark blue V6, a white GT,and i test drove a black GT. I had the hardest timew picking a color, I just ended up on gray...stealthy but not as hard to keep clean as black, I cant wait to get the car, and then i cant wait to do a few mods. I read about your tires in the exterior mod topics, very very nice...still cant believe they put 40 more HP under the hood and then went to smaller tire.........HELLO!!! Would you go bigger than the 255"s, any problem with speedometer accuracy or the abs brake system, I'm thinking they must have put those 235's on for a reason. Enjoy, again, your ride looks great!!!
Also Mark, I definately want do do some sort of stripe job, but the full ones for sure, down the front and back. I think i will go with a silver or black to keep it subtle, white would be to bold, but i think white on the silver car looks real nice, i am also think about a hood scoop, side scoops and dove tail spoiler...tell me , is you cars color hard to keep clean like black, i am hoping it is a little more forgiving like the silver or the windveil blue would have been
