Brad, someone else noted that those looked like the 18" wheels in another thread. Those wheel wells DO look pretty filled up there. What do you think? A little image massaging for the photo?

Thanks again, Brad.

I tend to tune in on any Vert info I can find. Even your earlier thread regarding the Vert intro and Diana DeGarmo, ...heck, even though I am a transplanted Georgia boy (Michigan to Colorado to Georgia), I could care less who inrto's the Vert as long as it gets intro'd (Segar would be my choice, however - a little Old Fassioned Rock and Roll).

One more thing. As a pup, I dreamed of my first new car. Later, when the "Middle-Aged Crazies" hit, I thought nothing could get worse. That was before the '05 Mustang brought on the dreaded "Old-Age Crazies". Everyone seems to be jacking me up every chance they get. I love the pics on this site and to make it worse, last night the little woman and I went to a new Italian restruant in town and I parked my '02 Satin Silver Premium Vert in my patented manner (end slot and a bit sideways, but not over the line). When we returned to retrieve Silver, someone had parked a spanking new '05 Satin Silver Coupe right next to mine. I think it took at least me half-an-hour to finally leave, ...crying, of course. "Old-Age Crazies" has set in, ...only delivery of my '05 Vert will cure me.

But back to the point. Thanks again and keep the Vert info flowing.

You're right, those wheels look bigger than stock.

Looking this this press photo give me hope that the 18's will be a late introduction, in time for the build of my 'vert. Dream on...

Those look like the 18" fanblades to me. Maybe they are introducing them for the 2005 model year.

Nice, but now that I'm used to my 17"s the 18"s almost look too ghetto.

Thank's for sharing that pic, and yes those are definitley 18''s. But that doesn't mean the vert will have 18''s as standard equipment.

The all-new 2005 Mustang Convertible - the first in a string of specialty Mustang derivatives- is the most solid, best-handling and most refined open-air version of the American legend ever.

It features an all-new, fully modern architecture, a muscular stance, a brawny engine, rear-drive excitement and Ford affordability. The Mustang Convertible opens a new chapter of the most successful drop-top performance model ever.

The Mustang was purpose-built to be a convertible. Engineers stiffened the chassis by more than doubling the underbody's torsional stiffness and improving bending stiffness by 25 percent. This helped reduce squeaks and rattles, improve ride and handling quality, and reduce suspension tuning complexity to compensate for weight differences.

The quick-folding convertible top looks good up or down and protects from wind noise and water when closed.

The Mustang Convertible will be in showrooms in the spring of 2005. It will be built at the AutoAlliance International assembly plant in Flat Rock, Mich.

I thought that was considered the 2005. 2006's don't come out until August/September.

Since those tricky dudes at Blueovalnews.com moved the pictures, I am going to repost them for y'all since I was snooping around
Maybe you should consider not leeching off of their bandwidth as they pay for it. If they moved it its obvious they don't want you posting their pictures on someone else’s site. If I were them those pictures would get replaced with something nasty to make sure you never remotely linked off of my bandwidth without my permission again.

True. It's advertising for their site though.

I removed the pics, you can veiw it there. If they don't want people viewing it there either, tough toenails, they should have secured the page.
