Why is everyone so down on Tungsten? It's a great color for the Mustang. I really don't care if they retire it, but why does everyone want it retired so bad?

Can I get a Burrito Beige interior with that?

For selfish reasons they want to maintain some perceived exclusivity, but that is just my opinion.

IMO, Tungsten and Satin Silver don't have enough Luster. The Tungsten that is on the current Mustang never lived up to the paint job that was on the Mustang GT at the Detroit Auto Show a few years back.

Ford has always had a problem getting "silver" correct, and I wish them luck in 08, because I wouldn't mind going that direction. But, right now I am leaning towards Vista Blue or Black.

I'm not down on Tungsten at all - look at my signature. I just ordered a Tungsten GT last Friday.

I'm just joking that somehow my car will have extra value if Ford discontinues my color. It's just a joke.

Why would you want to drive the tungsten anyway? Doesn't your signature say he sucks?

Now wait a **** minute- where is the great pumpkin? What did I miss?

No, I don't want Tungsten- I want my yellow- I drive the yellow and can only ride in the other because "I ride the clutch too much "

First, the Mach got traded for the Magnum .. 3 kids and some place to put them became priority ... I do miss her .. a lot. I sometimes wonder if I made a mistake .. but, I can always either buy her back, or get another in a few years ...

Secondly, I've never disliked Tungsten, but its not my favorite either ... But, introducing TWO new silver colors? How many silvers do you need?!

Yup. You made a mistake. I would trade BOTH my mustangs in a second for a CO.......
Tungsten isn't high on my list either...but here is how it went
How about yellow? Nope, you have one
White? Nope, everyone else has white
Red? Nope I hate red
Windveil? Granny blue
Lime? No way in hell
Black? Too hard to clean
Vista? Purple.
(there were no silvers on the lot)
Tungsten? Not too bad.
Allrighty then my brotha, I just started paperwork on your new car.

I agree with too many silvers..........One is enough. Have some variety- add some more oranges and greens in there and less reds and blues.

I'm glad i got Satin Silver, after three black cars/truck in a row. I got burnt out on cleaning them all the time. With S/S you get the old Cal duster out, go over it, and your good to go. The only bummer is, any paint touch-up on S/S just don't work.

I'm kinda glad that Grabber Blue hasn't shown up yet. By the time they bring it back maybe I'll be ready for a replacement.

I'll have to try that, everything else makes the scratchs look worse.

I ended up buying my GT in black but I was seriously thinking about gettimg tungsten. Tungsten is one of the nicest colors I've ever seen on a car in my opinion. I love how it has a purpleish bluish tint in some lights........very nice

I've recently found out that white takes touch-ups VERY good.

Selfish reasons... The defense rests.

Sometimes riding the clutch too much can be a good thing!

Vista... Purple?????????? CAN'T SEE IT!!!!!!!!

Tungsten can look purple? Really?

Okay seriously, where can I find this Sangria Red?
