New Bullitt

Went down last friday and ordered me a new Bullitt mustang. I am very happy with what I ordered and think I got a good deal... $30,112.58 and there are no marks up on it either. I get the X-plan and that is nice, tried to get a GT500, but all I could get them down to is $2,500 over sticker. I wasn't going to pay that or sticker, when I get all my fords at employee pricing....the company I work for lets us get the X-plan. I was thinking about adding some cool side window louvers and something else..any ideas? I posted this one another mustang forum and got some great feed back....

Congrats and welcome!

If it doesn't interfere with the CAI, I'd like to see a dual-vented hood on the new Bullitt.

That is why you are intitled to your own opinion....

I paid $27,000 for my old 06 mustang GT, loved it then traded it in with my wifes car to get her a new one. Just is just a play car, like my old 06 was...

2005 GT = $25,000

2008 Bullitt = $30,000

Going up 3 model years and from a mass-produced car to a limited edition. You do the math.

Chemicalman, congrats on the purchase.

CDC classic chin spoiler is a must. as far as side louvers, the silverhorse racing ones get my vote. I have the Cervinis scoops on my car, but thats only because I ordered them long before the silverhorse racing ones came out. ive dreamed of buying a bullit and customizing it to my liking. I know the whole idea of the bullit is sort of a stripped down, plainer mustang, but Id like to see someone dress it up at least a little. Glad you get that chance!

As for louvers for the bullitt, I think these still are most appropriate for replicating the ones from the movie:

Congrats on your order. Who cares how much you pay as long as your happy with what you get. Realistically I got my 08 at $500 under invoice, but I figure I will still be paying about $43-44k by the time its paid off.

Congrats....... and just my 2 cents, leave it as is. Don't mod it right away, just drive and enjoy it.

That is the plan... The only thing I want to add right now is the side window louvers, just have to find the right ones. thanks

I think you got a great deal.I'm surprised the dealership didn't mark the Bullitt up like all the other signature cars.I paid that for my 07" Grabber, but it came loaded with interior and exterior upgrades.I'm still happy with that deal considering my A-plan saved me a few bucks.
