Anyone remember the McLaren Mustang from the early Fox body years? Remember the orange on that? That's what Valencia reminds me og.

I would love for them to get rid of legend lime, that way ours will be that much more unique. Yay!
True, but I had the idea of a '08 or '09 GT 500 in Legend Lime on the back burner. Honestly, the Legend Lime color is what sealed the deal for me on my '06.

Surely they won't offer Satin Silver, Alloy Grey, and Tungsten Grey in the same year...
Was just checking out the new mercury milan and noticed they offer 3 different silvers out of there 10 colors,so maybe its possible mustang will also?

No way Tungsten is out after one model year.
They did it with Mineral Gray. However, I know it was used on a previous model year.

I'd think it would be desirable to have a color die out after one model year, there's just less of them on the road now.

So i'm confused. The front page of TMS seems to say that the new valencia color is DIFFERENT than the GTR valencia...

but it sounds like everyone is talking about the new valencia as if it is the same as the GTR valencia...

did I miss something somwhere???

You're joking right??

Yeah, Barbie blue...that's just what we need.

Seriously, though, those late sixties "flower power" colors are about as attractive today as wide paisley ties.

I knew the folks at Ford would want to use such a great color on such a great car some day..

i would not be surprised if they used your car as an example.....gm did to the esclade....when a guy painted it a bmw blue...next your the esclade had a color as close as you could get to bmw`s...

I want Dark Hyland Green but it'll never happen since that color would be saved in case they made another SE Bullitt version.

Alloy Blue could be a very interesting dark blue gray color. Valencia Orange is similar to the grabber orange. Three were pictures of the GT 500 interior with the orange inxerts. Could be very cool

Silver and gray tones are THE most popular color choices WORLDWIDE for all cars sold. So, Ford may just be covering their bases by offering what people really want. Thats the simple truth of it all. The numbers don't lie. Ford needs to sell cars. They need to sell what people buy. It's economics 101. I would hardly be surprised if they offered 3 gray colors.

IMHO, MG was canned because it was too brown, and brown doesn't sell cars.
