V8 sounds so awesome. (Wish there was some 6'er videos though ... (not enough cash or for the V8 & the insurance for it, stuck with a 6 banger, but its better than my crappy 4!)

3rd is probably the magic gear as well in this car...

Also I'm wondering if its tuned to be 'easier' off the line so that it doesn't KILL people, but once the car is moving, takes off like a shot.
Again its a GT, its an all around wicked car....and sounds that anyone can just pickup and drive it

 

That looks like alot of fun. I have been to this type of event in Atlanta for Mazda, Volvo and BMW. I have also been invited to one of these events for Mazerati in Atlanta. It's to bad that Ford can't set this up here as well.

Nice vids, but all those launches seemed to blow! The best launch however was definately in the vid CAstang2. It seemed that it got out of the hole nicely

 

Sorry, but 3rd gear wasn't the "magic" gear in the previous gen. I would like to think that this thing gets going in 2nd like the SN95's. Then we can install some 4.10's and get the '05 haulin' tail from the get-go!
