Where can I find a locking gas cap? I think this was a huge oversight on the 2005 Mustang.

even my Mustang II has a locking gas cap! I guess they were more common during the gas crisis of the 70's

Worried with high gas prices that someone is going to steal your gas out of your tank.

Wait that is a good idea  just kidding

Exactly; my local dealer(s) cannot even find it in the computer.

Aside from high gasoline prices---in my town we have Nimrods who get some morbid pleasure from utting foreign matter INTO your gas tank. A locking cap is a must.

Plus, Kevin can beat that price by over $12. Call him---1-800-570-5554.

Nike ("just do it"). You won't be disappointed.

Anyone can beat that price, that was list. If any of you have a question, I will try to respond the best I can. Most people walk into a dealership, and ask for parts, and the dealer can't find it, or they say " not available for ford.

Just do what Mad Max did in the Road Warrior, rig the car to explode if someone tries to steal the gas. Allways have a sawed off shotgun with you, a motorcycle gang might try to run you off the road. Watch out for anyone with a mowhawk, or a little kid with a boomerang that will cut your head off.

Locks easily by simply screwing it on in a clockwise direction (just like a non-locking cap). Unlocks easily with the key. The fastening strap simply snaps into the hole. Very easy installation, use and operation.
