Thumbs up

Thanks to VegasJay, he gave me a contact with JMS Products. They make many exterior mods for Mustangs, Trucks, Nissans's Etc. I have an appointment this Saturday at 9AM so they can take measurements of my car to make molds for exterior parts such as grilles, hood scoops, side scoops, C-Scoops, retro style body kits, foxbody wide body kits etc. He said if anyone, or myself, had any idea's as to what kind of products that we ('05 Mustang Owners) would like to be made for the car, to let him know so that his team can get the ball rolling on making some parts for the new 05.

Anyone have any other idea's as to what kind of parts they could possibly make for the 05??? Post Them, and I'll pass them on to the guys at JMS.....

Here is there website with parts, pics...... JMS Products, Inc.

Not exactly the exterior .. but I would love to see someone replicate the engine
cover that Ford left off.

From what I have read, it looks like there is interest in an engine cover. I would pay to get one if it looked good (similiar to the concept). Not sure regarding if it can say something like "Powered By Ford" etc because of copyright laws.

I would like a galloping pony in my middle cap of the machined wheels instead of "Ford." Not sure if this can be done with copyrights and all.

A plastic honeycomb panel to go between the tail lights, a grille with openings for smaller driving lights, a grille with openings for the existing size driving lights but closer together and a ducktail spoiler/trunk lid one piece unit (with the extreme side pieces being part of the main unit like the '94-'98 S281 wing). Oh, and a billet aluminum rear center medallion with no keyhole, with black allen bolt heads around the circumference and a badge in the middle of it that's silver with the "Ford Racing" logo

Engine intake cover...... I went to my local Ford parts dept. today to see if the one that says 'Powered by Ford' was available. This is the same one that is seen in pre-production models. My parts dept. said he could not find this as an available to order item at this time. Anyway....this is what i am looking for

I would like to see some nice, low rear bumper covers. Looking at my car, I think it just needs to come closer to the ground in the rear. Something that is not flashy or stupid looking, maybe even close to stock looking. I really liked Xenon's, with the cutout for the exhaust to come through the bumper cover. That would do it for me. Plus the concept engine cover would be cool. Thanks.

You can buy these already from ford. They're in the accessories book.

Mav, please make a plug for the concept hood (dual scoops). I also prefered the concept tailights, but that would be a far more extensive project....

Tail lights that have a small amber section for turn signals, like the '99 Cobra.

Concept tailites / Concept headlites / concept hood / concept vents and louvres /in a word the Concept period. It was a great looking car. I am not really turned on by the actual car Ford turned out. I have decided to get a F150 Ford Lariet truck and wait to see what the Mach I and Cobra look like.
