Need help with my Mustang Choice
#1
The decision to buy a Mustang GT has been killing me. Ever since I saw the 05 GT last February at the Motor Trend show I wanted one. During that time however, I’ve invested about $7,000 in my car customizing it. If I buy the GT I’d have to remove a lot of the parts from my Accord and try to sell them. Then I’d have to find someone to buy it because if I traded the car I’d take a 5k hit.
So my question to you all should I go ahead and do this. I want to either order a Sonic Blue with the black leather or Silver with the red. (manual tranny of course) I’m not sure about keeping the spoiler on or not so any opinions on that would be helpful as well. Thanks!

I've owned several Accords and loved them all. The only reason I don't have one now is I wanted a change in cars, and bought an 04 F150 to drive until the new Mustangs came. My Truck If I felt like paying the gas I would still have my truck, but I have better things to spend my money on. I was very tempted to buy the new Hybrid Accord V6 255hp with 30-38miles a gallon. (TECHNOLOGY IS GREAT).
You can't go wrong either way it just depends on what you want to drive. We own a Honda and Ford dealership so this is a neutral opinion on both. The reason I chose the Mustang is I wanted a rear wheel drive car that I could make a project out of.

Nope, it won't be. Kudos to you for thinking it would ... but it won't ... you're going to see like 95% to 5% in the poll ... maybe even higher.

Well here is what makes the decision tough. My current ride has a 6-speed tranny and I'm putting out about 285HP at the crank. The Tein coilover I put on with the drop and the upgraded sway bar make going through the twisties fun. I really like the look of the new Mustang and if the performance numbers Motor Trend put out hold up when the car gets the in the hands of more testers then it will be a dream. Of course I'll be dumping more money in this one. A little slower this time though.
For the guy who said who puts a Borla on a V6 I could name a few thousand. Borla has made a strong move here lately into the Import scene. You'd be impressed with what they've done on not only my car but the RX-8, 350z, and G35. You wouldn't think it was a rice burner if all you heard was sound.

If it's been killing you then, that's it! YOUR DEAD! Question answered!
Sorry, Dark charcoal, no black int.
remove the parts--sell!
take the car and sell! sell! sell!
That's a no brainer !
There's always someone out there that will buy it.
by the time you sell your parts, plus the car I bet the big huppla will be over, and you will get an even better deal on an 05!
And hang on dude, cause if you do sell, your in for 1 fine ride!
As for the spoiler, that's your choice!
:drive:

Well wouldn't Dark Charcoal be pretty much black anyways?
I think after I finally get to drive one it will make or break the decision.

There is a difference
personally, I like the dark charcoal better.

With the Borla exhaust the V6 doesn't sound like a weed wacker. You won't confuse my ride for lawn equipment. B)

I know but on the site I belong to for my Accord V6P.net most people are pretty objective when it comes to nice cars. There is a lot of respect for American Muscle.
