Hey all,

I wasn't paying any attention and foolishly backed into a mailbox today - the mailbox took the brunt of the damage but the trunk lid looks pretty ugly too. I'm wondering if anyone can offer any advice of possible repair costs. Does it look like something that could be banged out and repainted or will I need a new trunk lid? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Jason

The damage looks as if can be repaired but don't expect the paint to be a perfect match. I would try the Mustang salvage used part dealers. Perhaps you'll get lucky and find an undamaged trunk.

The paint is scratched. I'm wondering if it is something that can be repaired or if I should just try to find a new trunk lid?
