I need help !
I have ordered my GT in September and I call my dealer once a week to get information... But last time I talked to him, He told me that I will PROBABLY received my GT early in December (my car was not one on their first allocation).
My dilemma is should I wait untill March to order it (the car is not built and they can change my priority code) or receive it in the snow ...
What do you think (especially people from Canada who get lot of snow...)
Thanks !

Will you not be driving it in the snow next year? Or the year after that?

If you won't be driving it in the now, what WILL you be driving instead?

On the other hand, if you WILL be driving it in the snow in years to come, what does it matter?

Yes I will...
I am just affraid to receive it in the snow.... because I'm not use to drive powerfull and rear traction car... and I will prefer to get use to it before snow and ice...
I know... I'm a bit chicken ! :bang:

Can you keep your old car though this first winter and then go from there?

I drive a modified 97 COBRA in Edmonton, Alberta. The first season with the traction control and new all seasons you will be fine. The day when you get a 5 inch dump will be one of the best days of the year because with a little bit of skill you can leave the soccer moms in their Yukons etc. in your mirrors. I strongly recommend a good winter tire next year though as the confidence factor is worth the money. Get your car! This sort of toy is an emotional choice and you will enjoy everybody elses interest. B)

Ironically I just went through a similar dilemma today. I had ordered mine in September because I was afraid of the availability next spring.
I cancelled today and re-ordered immediately with a priority code 99 which will prevent it from being scheduled at Ford. It will be in the system, but not scheduled. The dealer at my request will set a new priority code to allow it to get scheduled and built. After talking to him he assured me that I would have no problem getting one in the spring. We may have to plan on an 8 to 12 week wait though. Depends on demand and he said activity is going through the roof.
