Thumbs up

I was wondering if anyone in this region is going to Fun Ford Weekend at Norwalk next weekend. I`d like to see other member`s cars there.

Yea, I'd be interested but I've never heard of such a thing and althought I've lived in the Cleveland area my whole life, I have absolutely no idea where Norwalk is. People talk to me about it all the time and I just give them the deer-in-headlights look. I know where Thompson is...

Here is the link to NRP. The track is in Huron county. Take 480 west to the Turnpike Rt. 10 split. follow rt 10 all the way (it eventually turns into 20) until you get to 601 (approx 35-40 miles) turn left and the track is on the right side.Fun Ford Weekend N.E. Ohio
Any questions post here or PM me.

I am planning to attend and would like to actually enter the event. Any idea on what class to race in? All I have is the usual bolt ons.

Anyway there will be a car there with Caintucky plates. I will look for you.

I guess I will be there just for the show then with those kind of entry fees! Plus I hope to get a glimpse of the new Shelby Cobra.

Just got back from FFW in Norwalk. I'll give you the good and the bad on the event.

NO SHELBY

I asked the SVT guy why they didn't have it, he said they were supposed to have it in the trailer all the time, but that lasted about week. Everyone keeps saying they need it for this and that and they can't get it for the shows.

The Shelby should be at all the Fun Ford Weekends. Ford really dropped the ball on that one.

I asked him if he could tell me a the schedule of where it could be seen. He said they don't really know where it's going to be. How stupid is that?

The racing was as good as all ways but the car show attendance was down and there weren't as many vendors as usual. They didn't give out any decent poster like usual, but they did give out first edition mustang hot wheels for signing up for info. One red One yellow. That was nice. I think that is better than the posters.

It was $20 a person to get in for the day. I have went the past 5 years and I think this is the worst display Ford has had sense I have been going.
