I was just wondering if the MyColor feature changes the color of the lights on the stereo or if they just stay some default color like green or something.

 

Only changes the guages.

Hey when I go in to change the colors I only get the selection as in R 1, G1, B1 or what ever number up to 5. One time I got a 5 or 6 color seletion as in Blue, Red, Green, etc. How do I get to just the color selection mode without the color/numbers?

 

When you hit reset and the message center says "Hold Reset to Change MyColor" you DON'T hold reset. Instead, just tap it again. It will cycle through the color selector for you.

 

I think when you go to the individual colors (not the MY Color), you can't change the degree intensity on these (my findings, but not positive). On the My Color, which is degrees of 1-5 on Red, Green, Blue.....I have mine set on: Red 3...Green 3...Blue 5. I played with it for quite awhile tonight, and I liked this best.

Yup, stereo and message center stay green... Which is a bummer..

Bigger bummer is, the dash lights up white and stays white until you turn your headlights on. :cry: I was hoping that the gauges would at least stay whatever color I set them to in MyColor.

 

Maybe if they hold back the rest of the MyColor's I'll own a collector item!!!

It doesnt matter to me if they take the MYcolor, its a really really cool thing and i would hate to see it go but I mean when i FINALLY get my 05 the last thing I would care about is the MYcolor.

But it also would stink for anyone else who wanted it and didn't get their stangs yet. But next year they'll prolly come out with something cooler, like a "mood" color dash. That'd be cool. Ah, I'd better go get a patent for it!!!
