Um I'd say the Sprint should be a Fastback, same with the Mach 1.
Sprint should look similar to the '72 Mach 1 and the Mach 1 should look like the '69 and '70 Mach 1's.

Both of these should have v8's. The Sprint IMO should be a very limited edition with the 302 Cammer in it, since they don't use 351's no mores. The regular mach 1 should have a blown 281.

Sprint: 450 hp 475 tq
Mach 1: 400 hp 425 tq

i think having the Sprint being a V6 SE was a good idea. perfect for those of us who still want the power of a musclecar, but can't really afford a GT...yet. oh yeah, don't think Shelby or the Cobra R should be a V10. keep em all V8s.

Naw a Sprint can't have a v6. It's like castrating a stallion... Of coarse I'm speaking on behalf of my pops who owned a Sprint, hense my love for 'em.

Lets think of a name for a Special Edition v6, thats not Sprint, kay?

I got it. Since the v8 has the different Cobra's how about the v6's having a different type of snake for a name. Maybe a name like Copperhead, or Diamondback?

Geez, Kevin... that's quite detailed!

And I think we can rule out the 5.0L V8 for any Mustang SE.

My ideal Mustang GT SE, not a Cobra, would have IRS, a 5 speed tiptronic transmission, and would be available in Dark Highland Green with the parchment interior. That's all I ask.

Kevin, your Shelby 500R would probably have someone in the family (ford GT) beat

Fortunately, no one dwelled on the overused "I want Eleanor soooo bad!" thing. Time to focus on some new ideas, like the good ones above.
