My Stang, My Company Truck,My Wife
Kevin, Sorry to hear and see the bad news.
Im like the rest here, figuring that your better half feels worse than you do. Earlier this year, my wife was going somewhere in our F-150 so I told her to be careful of the Cougar. Not 30 sec. later I hear a crash. Fortunately it was just the tail light lens.
Are you going to get that reverse TV camera and monitor installed in the Mustang now?

And how do you fix that dent w/o new body panels?
Bang it out?
That's not going to work.

yes it can be worked out.......i have seen alot worse worked out...and you can never tell what happened if done correctly...oh and by the way just if your wondering...at onetime i did work in a bodyshop.........
Sorry to hear it, man. I feel your pain. Although not a new S197 car, I recently had my Mach in for its second collision repair in 5 weeks. I got a new rear bumper cover from a hit in October, then a new front bumper cover, front left quarter panel, and new headlight from November's collision.
Hang in there!
Hang in there!
They'll bang it out and probably use a bit of body filler, and it'll look like new.
The problem I see with replacing the panel, that back quarter panel is not a separate piece, so they'll have to weld it in.
After you get it back, throw a coat of Zaino on there, it'll repel things like that from happening!...
Maybe I'm putting too much faith into Zaino

Good attitude, Kev. But take the advice and don't miss the opportunity to bank some emotional credits. She still feels really bad, I'm sure---she got your Stang AND your work vehicle with one shot---so show her you love her and bank those points while you can.
My Wife has the distinction of being the only person to ever park my car in my driveway other than me. The reason no else is allowed including my Wife anymore is because she scraped the bottom of my front bumper the one time she got to park it.

I shared my Story with a friend and he had a Better one.
Seems a Parts Guy at another Dealership had a Dead battery in his Ranger Pickup. He asked his wife to give him a Push Start. She asked how and he told her to Drive around the block and line up the cars and push him up to about 30mph and then back off. She Proceeded to Drive around the block and Ram the Truck at 30mph with him and the Two Kids inside.
True Story.
