My seats are BAAAAD! What are my options?

I'm looking at reupholstering just the front two seats which I believe are out of a 2005 GT coupe with airbags (not sure what's the difference). Originally I was thinking about having both professionally refreshed/refurbished, but with the cracks (Perforated? Really?!?) I'm not sure if that's an option any more. I don't know where to find factory red upholstery, and really don't want to spend more than what we originally bought the seats for (I think $400-500 for the two almost a decade ago) I could shop around local upholstery shops and see if how expensive that is, and maybe even get the same grain of leather that my 94 backseat is. But what's there available online? I'm having trouble finding red, and it needs to be that shade of red.

1) I don't know what my trim code is (05 seats in a 94, so my door jam will just say 6F)
2) isn't that for used parts? Like entire seats? I believe this is how we found the set I have. Cars been babied and low miles. I can't imagine some else's 2005 seats being in better condition. And even if they don't have holes in it, I would still rather not do the work of swapping for just some minor change, and still be stuck with old seats that will probably just rip again in no time.

I was debating, if I have to have something made locally, if I go with 05 red leather, 94 red leather, or just go with red vinyl. What ford used on these seats that are vinyl held up, and didn't discolor.

www.katzkin.com They have great quality covers with factory stitching. I bought a full set for my '11 F-150, and they held up great. The prices are reasonable also.

watch ebay, takeoff covers/seats in new/nice shape come up once in a while...although age might make them not last anyways?

In case anyone else is in a similar situation, my local upholsterist quoted me $450 for leather and $375 for vinyl EACH.

I have a full set of takeoff leathers, but the are grey. Very clean, but I don't think it would look very good with red trim and grey seats. Red's are hard to heck to find.

Wow. I didn't realize. I don't own an S197. Do you know what years red was offered? As far as SN95 mustangs go, red interior was only offered in 94 and 95, only on 4 different exteriors, possibly fleet only, and since owning the car for 19 years, I've only seen like 5 others on the wild, and I live in a major metropolitan area (one was in a different state). Finally got a Marti report done on the car, and only 530 1994 v6 convertibles had this interior. But red v6 cloth isn't the most desirable, which is why I have the 2005 seats. Can't imagine red S197 seats being as rare.

Call Midway Mustang 563-320-4904 or find them on eBay. They part out Mustang and Camaro totaled vehicles. They have lots of low mileage vehicle parts including interior parts.
