I was on my way home after work and I was sitting at a light on El Camino Real (very straight 3 lane long road) in the middle lane with a black 300C Hemi to my right and as soon as I stop a white (I think Pearl) Hemi Charger rolls up to my left, I look around to each and both are being driven by men in their mid to late forties, the Charger revs and so I rev back, sparking a rev from the 300C, alright its on, empty road in front of us for as far as we can see, no cars coming in the other direction, only one car behind us and its not a cop, so were good, some more reving and staging at the light and we are about to get our first real world comparison test of these three cars (too bad there wasnt a forth lane and a GTO), light changes and I launch like a bat-out-o-heck leaving these two guys in my dust (no real surprise but a lot of fun) I can see these two going at it with the 300C in a slight lead, I shut it down around 80mph since I obviously won (by several car lengths). Keep cruisin' as they catch up at the next light and we stage again, this one has about a 1 1/2 miles to the next light and no side streets. Light goes and same exact thing happens, get off of her at 80 mph again and let them catch up with plenty of road left, they catch and we are cruisin at 85 mph and the charger starts to gas it, the 300C and I take our cues and gun it, the 300C barely being able to hang and I again catching quickly and taking off leaving the two of them to fight it out, got to 110 in no time and again shut it down and slow to get to next stop this is were I turn right to go home, so I give the big thumbs up and a wave out the window and I get two in return, really cool.

Now my car is modded I know and lighter and faster stock, but this was still fun.
The 300C I've seen before he has big 20" chrome rims, lowered and I can tell that he at least has exhaust done, because it sounds real nice and muscular. The Charger still had the window sticker on the car, must have just bought it, lol. Drive it like you stole it!!!!

 

Now that's the kinda testing I like....

oh man...I miss workin in Encinitas...I used to have so much fun on El Camino Real. Oh well, I can still have fun when I go see Rachael.
