So I picked up the car a couple of weeks ago and the car is fantastic.

I have the Shaker 500 rev A and it skips all the time

I can't fill it up sometimes as it just pi$$es gas all over at some gas stations.

the front end clunks when I'm first starting off or if I back up.

the plastic screws in the front wheelwell that hold the plastic trim piece in place on

the side of the car are missing on 1 side

and lastly the rubber seal that holds the windshield in at the top of the window is all crooked and there is a very noticable bulge in it just above the driver on the outside.

and thats just what I've found in two weeks barely looking at it. God knows what else I have left to find.

Also is it the traction control that make the car fall flat on its face if you shift 1-2 at about 4000Rpm and then punch it? You get a little tire chirp and then it just feels like you lifted your foot off the gas pedal. I don't notice it if I say shift at 5500, and I haven't had a change to try the same thing with the traction control turned off.

There are TSB's for the first three items - take it back and they know how to fix them. The trim issues are just male cow excrement. Actually all of them are...
:bang:
...Dude, You hit the jackpot.
Man, I hate to hear about that. I hope that is the end of problems for many miles.

Do you have the IUP, "Traction Control Active" should flash in the message centre anytime the TC kicks in.

Hot Rod magazine did an article on an 05 that they got deep into the 12's. In the article they address the traction contol issue with the new computer. I guess you have to re-flash the computer and override the traction control in order do do burnouts. Otherwise, the computer senses the wheeelspin and shuts odwn the engine.

I'd check out www.hotrodmagazine.com if you want to knoe more.

Hi,

Excuse my sarcasim but as beautiful as these new mustangs are remember, they are still ford. Either way you got some issues and should notify your dealer. I am sure if all mustangs owners really looked closely.... Well.... maybe I shouldn't

Just hit the TC button before you leave the driveway, that'll shut it off. I did a nice healthy 4K clutch dump today and had no problems (except for hitting the rev limiter I can't wait to get the Predator to raise the limiter!)

Is there anyway to tell what day/date the car was made on? Mine just says 2/05 on the door sticker, is there some place that says the full date?
