My Mustang continues to amaze me!!

Took a week long trip down to Key Largo with my wife and some other friends. We had to take a few extra peices of luggage as my wife was going to Greece right after this trip. I wanted to take my Mustang down to the keys, it would be soo cool driving to key west and all. But with all the luggage and stuff I told my wife we would probably have to take her Mazda Tribute becasue we would not have room in my Mustang for all that.

Loading day comes ,I said I would try tyo see if I could get it all in the Mustang, she is packing up bags of food, sheez I'm really thinking no way all this will fit in my Mustang. I fold both back seats down, slide the largest of four med size suitcases up behind the passenger seat, and start loading. I get all four suitcases in, several boxes of games, several bags of food, a medium duffel bag with snorkel gear. I flip my driverrs seat down and STILL have room for my electric cooler behind my seat!!!

Im jumping up and down right now , saying huyaaahhh , not too shabby!!! My only regret is not taking a picture of all the stuff I fit in her cause you all would not belive it if you saw how much it was !!!

Once again, my Mustang continues to prove it is not only a great daily driver, but a flexible car for trips, life in general, can handle anything I throw at her ,and is without equal!!!! Try that with your Porche, 350Z, RX-8, Honda S2000, BMW Z3, or any of those other high dollar, snooty foriegn cars!!! All the while getting a cool 23+ mpg, on regular gas!!

Ok My avatar is 128 x 67 pixels and only 3.3 bytes so this should work!

I'm always amazed at how much our Stangs hold. In my opinion the trunk was very well thought out.

By the way, your avatar appears to be working now.

I agree. They did a great job on the trunk. It's HUGE. I put a wheel chair in there once. Didn't even have to fold the seats down, IIRC.

I was able to fit all my camping stuff, along with a large cooler, into my car last August for a camping trip, it won't be a problem this year for an even longer trip than last year (previous trip was 2 days, this trip will be 5).

The new Mustang is a very versatile car. I know it fits my family of four perfectly, plus it looks good , is pretty fast, and handles well. I don't need to drive a 4-door econobox...

I had all 4 of my 18" 255/45 tires in my car at one point.
