I agree, MCGT. If I were to put them that is the color I would go with or even
1 shade lighter.

Wow . .that looks nice. What color stripes are they? Where can I get them?

(I am still not sure if it would look overdone in conjunction with my current mods.)
Definitely wouldn't be overdoing it.
Look at the 2 cars side by side!
The wheels aren't flashy since they are gunmetal. Get the stripes.
BTW, I like the wheels. They're on my list of ones to choose from, but in 18's.
When I did the numbers the sidewalls on the 19's were about the same as my '03's stock 245/45/17's and they're a little too short for my taste, but the 235/17's on the '05 are too tall so I thought I'd go somewhere in the middle.

Jason

Also, I have one of the EJECT lighters for sale if anybody wants one.

Silver is made for stripes...the pix with stripes looked fantastic! Maybe you can work the stripes into your negotiations with the dealer for your unfortunate bumper scratches....worth a try towards a larger than usual discount...Rex
thanks for the tire and wheel info too!

Rims look good, don't know if I'd go with 19"s. Where did you find the eject and pony buttons? It's the little things that make the car yours, I believe...

Looks great just the way it is. Personally, I wouldn't go with the stripes, but it's really a personal preference thing.

I have mixed emotions on the stripes. One car they look good, another, too boy racer for me. Problem is, once you do it, you're done unless you want to paint the whole car.

Man!!!!!! Those wheels are perfect. I just don't really dig the factory wheels that much. I think the size and shape you picked are just right for the car. When I get my black or lime '05 those wheels will be the first thing I buy, then stripes of course.

Also, I don't think you'd be over doing it at all with stripes. Again good job on wheel selection!

Thanks, Guys.

The 'Eject' and 'Pony' lighters came from www.MGWLTD.com. They are the
chrome finish.

The 19's look really good. The only thing I would do is lower the car to close up the gap.

Did you paint the calipers red? What did you use?

Yes, I painted the calipers with this product.

http://www.eastwood.com/shopping/search/se...d=brake+caliper

It brushes on so no overspray to worry about. Everything is included in the kit,
even the brush. It dries nice and shiny and lasts for years with no maintenance.

I highly recommend it .. would look awesome on a black car, imo.

I like the 19's but personally I prefer a rim with wider spokes. Looks good though.

Thanks for the link but do you have to buy something else to wash it before you paint it?
