I have to make a critical decision soon. I've had my GT for about a month. It's a beautiful Black Premium, 500W, Interior Upgrade, Red over Black interior, ATX, anti theft, side air bags, Bullits.

My Melanoma Cancer returned so quickly that I may have months to live.

I'm going to sell it back to the Dealer sometime soon. Sorry, I'm not going to be able to deal with selling myself--I've got too many other things to deal with that are more important than a car now. So please don't make any offers.

So.... for you information there will be a beautiful "used" GT with about 1,500 miles in the next months at BoB Allen Ford in Overland Park Kansas with all the stuff they can't get out of the factory now: Interior upgrade, etc.

I broke it in nice, it had its 1st oil/filter change at 1,000 miles. I baby-ed it really, so keep your eyes open if you want it. My wife agrees it must be sold, she loved it too.

Remember that Jesus is with you every step of the way. He will help you when you need it most. Look to Him for strength and peace. My husband has had bone cancer twice (metastasized to his lung 2nd time) A very scary and serious time for all.. He is still here, and I thank God for his mercy all the time. I will pray for you and your family. Don't worry about the car. At least you got to have it for a time. I pray that you are saved. If you are not, find out how to be. (Don't mean to preach, but it is very important) Blessings to you and your family. Sincerely, Linda R. , Michigan

Good luck and god bless you and your family. I lost my brother to pancreatic cancer not too long ago. I hope you enjoy your time, and hopefully there will be lots of it, no one can tell you, just make guesses. You would be suprised at how an outlook can help.. You can never give up, lots of people love you and need you around. I wish you the best.

I am so sorry to hear about your melanoma cancer. When I read your post chills ran through my body. About 1 1/2 years ago I had some surgery to remove my melanoma cancer. So far no signs of it but its still early.

I will personally be praying for you tonight and I wish the best of luck to you. I know its easier said than done but dont give in. Try not to think about it. I understand and respect you for prioritizing things but dont give up. I would keep the Mustang. Its not over. Its not the end and you must not start doing things like you have no future or hopes. You must fight and pray along with God. Fight for yourself, family and friends. I am really, sorry, I dont even know you but I feel like I could cry for what your going through. Just do a stranger one favor. Keep living strong like there is no end to this world and dont give up. Good luck with everything. We hope to hear from you soon.

What a perspective reset indeed. I just looked and over 3200 views of this thread have occurred since your first post – you have given perspective to many people. Thank you for that reset. The complaints here about late delivery and hard to get options seem so insignificant now. Keep fighting and may God bless you Charles and your family.

I remembered this post from a while back and though it was worth pulling it forward again.

Perspective - we all want our Mustangs, but...

Don't give up Charles. Fight it to the bitter end. We are all here for you.

(I have lost many family members to that horrific disease - most recently my dad)

I work in a Medical office and see patients with diagnosis and grim prognosis every day. I have learned one thing over the last eighteen years. It is quality of life that matters, not quantity. Sorry to hear the news, but use the time you have with those you love, and care for. And take time for you to do somthing you have always wanted to do, but have always said, "I will do that later. When I have time."
Time is a strange word. Time is all we are given from birth, and we always seem to we run short of. I am sorry again. I will keep you in my thoghts and prayers.
