I got the following email from my local dealership:

We finally have some pricing info available on the 2005 Mustang’s! I “built” one for you – a fully loaded GT would run approximately $26,730 under the X-plan. That includes almost every option, including the Shaker 1000 stereo.
Can't wait to put my deposit down

Here's the skinny on the "Friends and Neighbors" program.

"Ford Motor Co.'s salaried employees now can give vehicle discounts to their friends and neighbors. Under a modification of the so-called X plan, 54,000 workers can sign up three people a year for the savings on Ford's internal computer network. "

So partners cannot give you that, but Ford "salaried" employee's can.... Time to start sukin up to an eligible employee.

I wish I did - I'd give it out free.

See if you have a relative or a freind that may be a Ford Partner ( a supplier, etc.) I was fortunate that my co-worker's husband works for the company that supplies paint for the F-150 trucks and he hooked me up.

Good luck!

Freedom Ford, Off of Military Hwy & Little Creek Rd in Norfolk.

I think thats the one going by the subject line.

26,730 sounds low for an X-plan price on a fully loaded GT, I'm wondering if he quoted you A-plan price by accident. Maybe there's a difference of opinion on fully loaded.

"almost" fully loaded... perhaps it's not an automatic, and he's leaving the delivery charge out

I think it's between $1,114 to $1,522 extra. I'm not sure how the X-plan treats options.

Yes it's a loaded 5-spd manual. Tax, Title and License was not included. I don't know if the $625 delivery charge was added.

I'm also trying to get the price on the stripes too. I will get the low down when I put my deposit down.

Can anyone recommend the best route for financing? Credit Union, Bank, or Ford Financing?
