Words cant describe this car. It all worked out really well for both me and my wife we had the weekend off and just cruised. I am in a local classic car club so we thought it would be a good idea while this car is still kinda rare at this point to take both our 65 and 05. People would first go to the 65 and then turn to see the 05 and say "Oh this is that new mustang I didnt even think they were out yet" So I took a couple pics of our weekend to kinda share our experience.
tell me what you think

you may or may not be able to tell but we blacked out the lines in the tail lights.
This was an idea that I got from one of the members on this site

HEY!!! My car's TWIN!!!!

That's awesome Perry - great pics! Bet you had one heck of a great weekend!

We gotta get our two Dark Horses together and get some pics - we missed ya this weekend but when we do the next South Florida SOURCE get-together, we'll have to get ya there. I'm putting pictures up from the meet Saturday momentarily....

(and hey - nice MIRROR decal - are cars truly are twins!)

Thanks for the great pics. I love my '05 (vert), but seeing the '05 next to your beautiful '65 is bittersweet... I kind of... like... the '65... better :-)

Wow! What great pics, thanks!

I have a Legend Lime Mustang coming this week or next, so it nice to see your 65 in that color. Reminds me of why I got it!

I know my wife enjoyed it she drove the 05 while i drove the 65 to the car show. While going down the road the looks we got were just hilarious. Got a few thumbs up. Every now and then we would pass a 05 V6 and I would put my arm out and wave, but none wave back ...oh well

Great names for colors then. Ivy Gold and Ember Glow were my 2 favorite. My '66 was Ember Glow ( Ember Glow '66 ) and my '05 is Legend Lime. Think from now on I'll call it Ivy Gold

Wow, very nice pics of old and new sitting together. Sounds like lots of fun.

One of my co-workers has a '69 or so coupe. When he drives it to work I'll make sure to get a few pics of it alongside my car.

it was a dream come true for me. To have both of them side by side just gave me chills. We also met someone from Ohio and they placed their order for an 05 last month or so and said the dealer told them 4-6 weeks.....I told them how long our order took and that we hoped they didnt have to wait as long.

Those are 2 nice looking stangs Perry I've got the legend lime 05 myself and it's just great .I had a few friends over today to look at the new stang and it sure brought smiles to everyone's faces whether they were 30 or 75 they just loved it
And I'm sure being at the car show with the 2 of them there you must have had a lot of great conversations going .

we did Craig and you know that there is always one guy there that has to give you a run for the money he started talking about the 05 and all wanted to know the engine size etc. Me and my wife told him that we seen some 05s at the Fun Ford weekend run in the 12s and one in the 11s with mods of course and the guy thought we were lying. I told him whatever then I guess I am lying. Was trying to tell me that there will always be a car faster. I said whatever as long as mine is fast enough for me
