Just curious as to how people are liking the My Color and how often you change the colors. Is there anyone out there that really hates it or really loves it and why.

Have it on order, and I think it will be pretty cool. I probably won't change it much. The reason being that only the gauge cluster changes color, and the radio and other controls stay green. Now, if they all changed, I would probably change it all the time!

I set it to purple, and left it there. Havent moved it in the entire 3 months I have owned my 05.

I LOVE it, because it just gives me one more way to customize my Stang, and make it all mine. What I dont like about it is that it only shows your set color when your headlights are on. Otherwise the gauges are illuminated white.

I have yet to see a Mustang, with the battery attached, that has MyColor in it... Even though I've seen and been in atleast 6 now.

It's a cool little feature, but since I found the color combination I like (I think you could call it Turquoise Blue...combination: R1 G5 B5), I haven't changed it anymore...
If it wasn't part of the IUP package, I am not sure wether I would have gotten it or not (if quite inexpensive, probably yes...)...
Bottomline: I like it but I don't think it's such a high point in the new Mustang, it's more of a little gizmo, imho.

So that explains it!! I just got mine Monday night and had set it up but then on Tues morning when I moved the car it was white again. I havent had the chance to drive it again since then due to the snowstorm here but can't wait to play with this feature some more! I waited a LONNNNGGGGG time to get this IUP and I intend to enjoy it to the fullest!!!

You only need to see the color at night. If you are driving at night without your headlights you have more to worry about then the color of your gauges...

During the day you can keep your headlights on if you want, no one is stopping you. Some cars even have standard day time running lights.

I like My Color, and have it set at 3-R...3-G...5-B which gives a white'ish Blue. I've experimented around with different colors blends, and I like this one the best. I could have done without the My Color just fine, but not at the expense of not having full gauges.......so I am glad I have it, even though it really is just a novelty option. How's things going on the patent lawyer hammering on Ford about the infringement.....so he says? Haven't heard much lately, but this is probably because I don't have internet at home as yet.........

My Fathers GT has it and I think it is a really cool feature. I can't wait to change the color each week for a 125 weeks or so on my car when I get it. The my color is what sold me for the upgrade package so if Ford didn't have the my color I would have gotten the interior sport appearance package. The aluminium is nice but I can live without that.

Ok, so the My Color only comes on when the head lights are on. Alright.

But the radio, heater controls and such are still green? That stinks!!!!!!!!! :notnice:

Does anyone not have My color and what do the guages glow when the headlights are on?

Complete Waste Of Time And Money! I Played With It For Maybe 5 Minutes. The Odds Of You Changing The Color After 2 Or Three Times Is Slim To None.

I got my car back in November. I set the My Color to Red 1 Green 1 and Blue 5 and I left it there. Kind of hard to figure out at first. Every time I had it set I would push the wrong combination of buttons and it would reset it back to the begining. Once I got it set I left it there. It's not that big of a deal to me.

I played with it one time and made all 125 different colors. They are really subtle changes to the colors.
I left it on a shade of blue and have not changed it since.
I guess if you think about it reading this post. we probably all have it on a "different" color combination so it just adds personalization.

I set mine to red and haven't changed it much since. I've gotten a few requests for blue, purple, and pink. Even though I rarely change it, it's nice to be able to set it to a color that I like. Instead of having to put up with green.

I can take it or leave it. I also set my color to blue/purple and once you set it to the color you like, your unlikely to make any changes. I wish they had put the money in either better plastics(interior), the engine cover and some of the other little things that never made it to production. (dead pedal, etc.).

I like it, pretty cool feature. I've never had a car with this many gizmo's before so I think it's neat.
