I haven't watched a race in coming up on five years next Saturday.

Racing is bigger than ever. Toyota is even getting into the mix in 07 (I'm not sure how I feel about that).

Dale Earnhardt died having done to him what he did to COUNTLESS drivers (all of whom had faster cars than he) for YEARS and YEARS. It just so happens on that day that his seatbelts (which of course have never failed before and probably never will again) failed. I call this devine intervention. I'm sure GOD is a NASCAR fan and just got sick of all the hoopla and crap associated with Earnhardts and their uncanny ability to wreck countless drivers every year and suffer no consequences.

I lost that loving feeling when Sterling Marlin killed him...... (an opinion)

You personally feel that Marlin was the direct cause of his death, which in my opinion is ignorant. Racing is filled with contact and crashes, and his death was caused by an unfortunate and freak string of incidents. Don't try to back out of it by saying you mistyped. All that shows is that you still hold the same opinion but you are scared of everyone knowing it. Move forward a little more enlightened and don't put undo blame on competitive athletes.

Yea, I typed something stupid. Yea, I got rid of it, because I didn't think before I typed. Sometimes your fingers are faster than your brain is. And then you have time to think oops, I shouldn't have said that.


I am going to try anew this Sunday to restore my love of racing.
Once it was so great that I moved to Nc and later to Davidson Nc just to be in the middle of it all.

That said, my car is handling better than it has all season.
