my car got egged

man i hate poeple that do this ****!!!!

just when life cant get any worse someone goes and eggs my car at 11 at night.

and its abuot 15 degrees outside. its not supposed to get above freezing for like a week, by the time i found the egg it had froze to my hood... completely.

so i took it right away and drove through a car wash.... it got all but a little off the hood....

then when i got home i ran hot water over it andwashed it off with a soapy hot rag, then washed it off with hot water again...

i think i got it all, but its 2 am and its hard to tell in the dark.

man if its damaged i am gonna be so ****ed off tomorrow....

i hate those little ****ers that do this stuff to a car just cause its nice

Sorry to hear that man, and sorry to hear you've been down in general. Hope you got it all without any damage! Just remember, it might get worse before it gets better, but at some point it's got to get better

I am not suggesting you should invest in Amway...but if you know of an Amway dealer get some LOC (Liquid Organic Cleaner) off him or her, it will take the eggs off the car. LOC is a very mild yet tough cleaner.

I am sorry to hear this bro. I know exactly how you feel. I've gotten a brick thrown through my back window, then a few months later through my windshield and scrapped the top of my car .

Luckily i only had to pay a $ 250 deductable for insurance but people are just too stinking jealous these days and are a$$holes.

I can only imagine what would happen if you got your hands on them.

in a way im glad i didnt catch them doing it. i probably would have been in jail.

i dont take that stuff lightly. you dont go around trying to damage peoples property maliciously and just get away with it.

i looked and i dont see any leftover egg, i think i got it all off... i keep a pretty good coat of wax on my car so i think it helped a little.

i think the egg froze before it had a chance to soak into any of the clearcoat... so when i ran hot water over it and then a soapy rag it all just came right off....

thank god!

it just sucked cleaning my car at 2 am....

Glad to hear it came off with no ill effects. Just exactly what is it about the new Mustang that "inspires" mischievous people to do this to our cars? Jealousy, obviously, comes to mind first. The looks I get when I drive our '07 GT vary (in my estimation) from people who are willing to give you a thumbs up, to folks who you can just tell - their eyes are burning in hatred for you and your prized Mustang.

The fact that it froze may have helped you in that regard, I wasn't so lucky back in November when mine got hit. Punks waited until a few days after Halloween then did a drive by. Any car parked on the street and some in the driveways in my area got hit. They hit my rear quarter and it shattered the clear like glass in that obvious crater shaped pattern egg hits leave. Here I am a couple of months later getting miffed all over again.

Glad yours came out OK.

Oh yea, that does suck washing them at 2am LOL.

Same thing happened to me when my car was about 2 weeks old and I was about 3 weeks from going on mid tour from afganistan. I got on messenger and the first thing my wife says is "so about your car..." she got it all off and called a mobile detailer and I couldnt even tell where it was hit.

luckily i was only hit on the hood....

i bet a part of the car thats more flexible would have yielded more damage...

All vandals should be "knee-capped"...no questions asked.

This is what mine looks like (this one isn't my car) and there is a spot that chipped large enough to where just clearing the quarter again won't fix it.

the liquid of the egg isn`t the problem, but the scratching the broken shell will do.
