Ok, so I got the word this morning that nothing has in fact gone wrong with my car. It actually finally left the yard last week. The only explanation is the whole first in, last out method of getting cars out of the holding yard.

Ok, that makes some sense, but it was built an entire month ago now...still doesn't fully explain it in my eyes, the dealer agrees, but whattya going to do? I have a feeling my car also got pulled for a quality check, which would explain it...we'll see if I have one of them stickers on it when it does arrive.

So if it left the yard last week, there is an outside shot it could arrive tommorow....if not, it should be here next week for sure.

They're trying to find out exactly when, but I certainly feel better that there's nothing wrong, I just drew the short straw

Maybe it'll arrive with a fat guy drivin and eight reindeer pulling it! Worst case, you become the "first born" of the New Year. Hope it arrives soon for you.

Congrats, 66. It should be a heck of a "Happy New Year" celebration at your place.

Don't forget to post the pics (with you in 'em) next week.

I know the feeling. Mine arrived way after the first in Denver got here (several weeks), and it didn't have a quality sticker or anything.

Guess ours are just special...they didn't want to let them go.

Good luck...hope it comes soon!

Mine's been sitting at the rail head for 5 days, so based on that it could be 5 more! It's so close, yet so far!

I guess that is one problem with ordering from the smaller dealers, they need to get a truckload of vehicles before they dispatch a carrier. Still, the better service is worth it compared to some of the faceless urban dealerships.

Maverstang, it all depends. Mine actually sat in our reginal railhead, meaning it had already made the trip south from Flat Rock. From build date to the reginal railhead, via train was less than a week. But once it got down here it sat for 10 days waiting for a load of cars to come to Virginia Beach. So your wait could be way less all depends on truck deliveries. In reality if mine would have been delivered to the dealer right after if came off the train, it could have taken just a week from build week. Some people have had that happen.
