That sucks man. Thats crazy the cops dont come and cant right her a ticket for failure to yield or something.
I was almost hit the same exact way by an old lady. The right lane was stopped and someone flagged the old lady to go ahead in front of them. She never looked at the 2nd lane, my lane and jetted across, no time to slam the brakes, I just swerved like mad hit the brakes and did a 180 into the oncoming traffic lane.
Man what a rush, no cars were hit, but I swear she took the wax off my bumper thats how close it was.
I ran up to thier car as they pulled over, I was ready to kick someones hiney and to find it being 2 old ladys i just made sure everyone was ok and we went on our way.

The green car is mine in that movie above.

I'm really sorry to hear about your car! You've worked to pay for and to keep your car in perfect condition, and then someone's careless mistake ruins it. I've been there too many times, and it the language sensors won't let me epress how I really feel.
I hope someone can recommend a top notch repair shop in your area, and you car can be restored to your satisfaction. If not, as another suggested, you could trade it in, since the resale values are still high and get another one.
Driving is a game of chance, and it scares me at least once a week.

Well, was a good time to have had optioned for rental. Here we cover our own vehicles as we feel needed and our insurance foots the bill. If we are less than 50% at fault then our deductible amount is waved.
As far as where to take a car for repair. One is as bad or good as the other. You just have to keep an eye on the work quality and do not sign for repairs until you are satisfied. And look for a shop with life time guaranty on the work. This is usually a dealership offering.
Good Luck Dude.

Man... so sorry to hear about that. I t-boned some idiot who pulled right out in front of me a little over two months ago. I should be getting my car back in about a week. I wouldn't wish what I have been going through for the last 70 days on anyone. I hope yours gets fixed a lot quicker. I have the misfortune of living in south Louisiana and not being able to find a shop that wasn't heavily booked with all the damage to cars around here the last 6 months.
And like you told me when I got in my t-bone... check your frame. Mine was bent... a LOT, even though I couldn't really see it. The car spent over a week in the frame shop. Make sure they check yours too.

Take it easy! I went thru the same thing in christmas time. My whole car got side swiped and after 2 months waiting and $11,000 dollars my car came out better than it was before. I put a Boy racer body kit,all of the rear suspension from BMR Fabrication and a custom paint job. Remember sometimes good things come from bad experiences! Here are a few pic of before and after.

Sorry to hear about your wreck, that really sucks. I'm glad to hear you're ok, relatively speaking. I know it hurts to see your car in that condition, but those repairs are pretty straight forward. Replace the frt bumper, valence, grille, hood, fenders, possibly lamps, appears minor repair on the doors, replace airbags, maybe some radiator support & rad and ac condensor, dmg, minor frame pull on the frt horns...sounds like a lot, but it really isn't. This car and most these days are made to crumple and keep the impact from reaching the drivers compartment. A reputable shop should be able to get you back to pre-loss condition. Also, be sure to pick a shop with a good painter. That Redfire paint requires a base coat, then color, then clear. As for dimished value, your dept of insurance should be able to let you know if your state allows you to make a claim for dov. Hopefully the other persons insurance covers the damage, be sure to request oem parts.....you can always buy any AM goodies while in the shop. Best of luck with the repairs.

I not real sure but there might also be some wheel damage, they appeared a little bent to me.
That looks to be about an $10,000 job - does that sound right?

Since the hood and front bumper cover will have to be replaced I guess I might as well get something more destinctive than stock parts.
May be something with scoops in the hood or something like that.

It could be a 10k job, just kinda depends on the parts. Namely the airbags and associated parts needed. My car is still in the shop from an accident 12/28, the big delay w/ mine is parts for the rear end. I did some upgrades while it was in the shop. Why not right? Go for that new cover or possibly hood? Here's a pic of mine, about 11k in dmg, but different area of the car.

Boy do I know how you feel! 7 months after I picked mine up from the dealer, I drive it over a guard rail. But in your case you at least have someone to blame and be angry at. I only had myself to blame Mine was an $8500 job, but insurance covered all but $3 of my new bumper, and half of my tires and wheels. That is sad indeed. Insurance companies say that now young girls are the worst risk and if on a cell phone totally distracted. I believe it!
Teen boys are still racers for sure but do not have a phone growing out of their ears.

These pics of wrecked stangs are making me sick. I hate to see this. Especially with this being such a new car that I know all of you wanted so bad. And if you are like me, ordered it and waited months for it to come in. Only to have some retard put it in a shop.
Your wreck is worse than mine... with possibly both doors neededing to be replaced and maybe even a wheel or two. My total settlement came out to be around $8200, and that was with neither door or any wheels being damaged. But, the airbag deployed and broke my windshield, so that total is including the driver's side airbag assembly, seatbelt mechanism and windshield. If yours didn't go off, that may just about cover your doors. But from looking at your car, it looks like it will be close to $10k for sure.

I posted my accident in another forum and somebody said that the owner of the Neon probably loved their car as much I loved my Stang. I disagree.
How can you love a Dodge Neon with the same passion that we love our Stangs?
A Neon is a no frills econo box. 2.0l 4 banger engine .
