Well at long last (and actually sooner than I expected) my baby is here!

I flew 600 miles south to San Diego to pick up my baby. The drive back was unbelievable, these cars rock!

Here is a pic of me holding the keys for the first time.



I couldn't be happier with this car. On the drive up from San Diego I got about 10 thumbs up.

The most memorable accolade was someone in a Home Depot truck; he crossed 4 lanes of traffic to pull up beside me, (I was wondering what the heck he was doing), he got closer and paced my car for about a mile then pulled ahead a bit and looked back at me and gave me a huge thumbs up, while mouthing the words "nice ride".

I stopped at a hotel on the way up and the night manager had to come out and check out the car. I let him sit in it and cranked the stereo so he could hear the subs.. (Needless to say I got a great deal on the room.)

What a great trip, I will post the pics I took on the way soon.

Nice ride for sure. Just picked mine up also (although it seems nice and sunny there, while I had to rush mine home into the garage before the snow started). Oh well, spring will be here soon (well, maybe not).

Black is my favorite color on a car, and your's looks awsome. The polished 18" really set the car a part and give it a customized look! Contratulations!

those rims are sick, I wish they were available as an option when I ordered mine. They look real good on black.

Now I just spend all my money on stuff that makes it go faster

GREAT looking car John! Congrats. Exact same as I ordered except I got the red leather and door panel accents. Supposed to be built week of 1-23. How long did it take to reach the dealer after built? Also what Hotel gave you the discount? I'm driving from Mossy to Fairfield when I pick mine up.
