On my way home yesterday from work I was rearended. I came up to a stop light that was turning yellow so I stopped. The Mercedes behind me stop, but the 16 year old in the Jeep behind him didn't. She hit him and then pushed him into me. She got saying oh I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention. I was so PO'd. She put a big dent in the rear bumper and the driver's side rear quarter panel has some dents in it. I've also got a couple dents in the bottom of the trunk. I waited 6 months to get this car and I've only had it 3 months.

Here's some pictures of my car afterwards.

Unbelievable! Sorry to hear about that. I'm beginning to think these things have a giant magnet in them and people can't help but run into them.

Yeah I know what you mean.
The only good thing out of this is that they will have to replace the rear fender and I can get rid of a ding just behind the driver's door where somebody opened their car door into it.

People need to find a way to pay attention while in the car. Was this 16 y/o talking on the cell phone?

I was luck yesterday, or should I say the young lady that hit my car with her door. Lucky for the drive her friend didn't put a dent in my car. I would have keyed the H*ll out of her car (Porche) FN imports.

im just about 16, and when i drive, im the MOSt cautious driver in my town, i would die, if i dented my baby lol, i would just die , thats relaly unfortunate man, thats y i wont drive my car to school, since if u look at all the kids cars they are all dented and screwed up from not paying attention while driving, id be stupid to park it on the street or in the parkinglot by the school

This is why I am an advocate of raising the driving age. Most (not all but most) 16 year olds are not mature enough to get behind the wheel. I got my permit when I was 17 and my liscensce when I was 18 and when I look back I still don't think I was mature enough.

(David, you seem to be one of the few exceptions to the masses so I hope I do not offend you.)

Kids driving should not be driving with passengers IMO on top of that, save for parents. There is just too much distraction and it overwhelms the senses.

M5f07t, I wish you the best of luck getting your car repaired
