Hey, Steve......love the car! The first '05 Stang I test drove was the hard top in that same color. I fell in love that day and knew I definitely HAD to have one!! Keep it in the wind!!!

Hey...I'd thought about the pony silouette(sp?) on the doors in either black or silver since I have grey interior. Still thinking on it. My hubby is gonna paint the brake calipers red....bought the caliper paint yesterday. He'd also mentioned painting the black inside of GT emblem on the front quarter panels red. I told him I didn't want to tacky it up.... :nono: He knows I like red, too. Still in the thought stages.

 

Hey...nice car yourself!! I'm not fond of blue....I'd thought of silver stripes....there's all kinds of possibilities...my hubby says he likes it plain....no stripes....BUT.....It's MY CAR!!!

 

Well Carol there's a thread up in exterior mods by Stangnut with different stripes and colors on mustangs ,check it out when you get some time
Plus theres the stripe your mustang tester here ....pick your stripe type ,car color and stripe color .Might give you some ideas on how to drain your savings account

thanks for the info on stipes....I've looked at the model you can stripe...my stang looks good with the silver stripes, of course White goes with any color! I'll check out that other site. good luck with your car!

Hubby just painted the brake calipers RED, will post pics as soon as I can take some. Looks great!!

Does anybody know of a good security system for the Stang, besides the one Ford offers? "Lucie" was a dealer stock and didn't come with one and I would very much like one installed. Ordered a locking gas cap from Kevin last week, waiting for its arrival.

Just wanted to add that I'm so thankful every day for my "Lucie". I'd watched this car on the internet for about a month in hopes nobody else would get her. My hubby and I just couldn't resist it any longer. We had to buy her. I feel for all of you Stangers who haven't gotten their cars yet. Hopefully soon they'll be in. I know it's been a tough wait.

BTW, while I was having my driver's side window tint fixed, a guy came up to my car and said, " I've just got to see this car! It looks so good!". Another smile on my face!

 

it was my 18th bday present to myself.....its due this week sooo HAPPY BELATED BDAY TO EVERYONE (and me too lol)....i ordered the following tuesday after my bday lol.....congrats guys
