My 2008 Vista Blue GT!

Well as you can see from my user name, I had an 07 Alloy GT. Traded it in for a pretty unique 08 GT.

It started as a standard GT and the dealership had it sent off for a few things. This includes:

CDC Glassback roof
CDC front chin spoiler
CDC sequential tails
20 inch Shelby Wheels (American Racing)
CF trim
Custom two toned seats (micro-suede with blue stiching) front and rear

I definitely plan on doing a bunch of things to it. Just took delivery of her today!

Pictures aren't the best, and I don't have my wide angle with me. That in combination with being confined to the garage means I couldn't get the best "whole shot" of the car.

Thanks a lot man!

Yeah, I think the first thing I'm going to do is get the side mirrors and chin spoiler painted. Then throw on an exhaust. Who knows, I might be daring enough to take a loan out and just blow the thing right away. lol

I recommend the Midwest Auto Gear Mirror covers. Very inexpensive, and it makes the stock mirrors look great. To paint the entire mirror, its a pain as you really have to prep and sand the surface smooth and some have had issues with it. The MAG covers add a nice touch. Check out my avatar.

Wow! Great car, you made a good decision trading for this one. Some of the things on it are exactly what I'd like to do to my VB. Love the look of the wheels, I wanted Razors originally, but more and more I'm leaning this direction. Congrats on a great car!

ps. Keep us posted about your experience with the Glassback please! I felt really bummed when Ford released info about the Glass roof right after I bought my car, been thinking about doing this in the future.

Why is the e-brake pulled up so high? I find 1-2 clicks is all I need to keep the car from moving when parked on a hill (in neutral). I then shift into 3rd gear after I shut off the engine.

I like the chin spoiler!

uhhhhh I just do? I hold down the button the the e-brake, so I don't really go by clicks...

I guess I'm **** about making sure it doesn't roll forward into my garage door (usually don't park it in gear unless it's on a hill). Happened to one of my friend's.

Hahah yeah. Well, the alloy GT was the reason I got this car. I went in to sell the Mustang to Ford, and they wanted 20k to buy it outright. I didn't like the sound of that number. Saw this one, and they offered me 23,500 for trade in. I slept on it, worked some numbers, saw it was feasable, and pulled the trigger!

Making the e-brake too tight also stretches the cable. I experimented by parking on my steep driveway to see much it exactly takes to prevent the vehicle from rolling. 1-2 clicks, maybe 3 clicks, was all it took. I always shift into gear just to make sure.

You can see them on my Stang by the end of the week ...except I went with 555 Nittos.
