Thanks for posting these shots Rocky!!! Looks like an awesome meet!

So, they do this weekly? So many desirable cars that showed up. Hard to pick just a few favorites. Lots of variety and many hidden beauties in every shot. Cars from today and back, and some way back.

You and your friends must have got there very early to get that prime parking spot! Car is looking fantastic as usual! Thanks Rocky. Glad you shared this with us.

Thank you, Steve! It is indeed a weekly car meet which sometimes up to 800 cars have been known to attend.... The parking lot is that big lol... Anyway, in order to get those parking spots underneath the canopy, my friends and I do indeed arrive early between 10-11:30AM... The car meets start up every Memorial Day and runs through September 1st...

Thank you, Kevin! As I truly appreciate everything you're doing to the best of your ability on my behalf, as I'm also trying my very best, despite my recent health scare to keep my commitments I made by those continuing efforts with restoring the Mustang of The Day Thread and by also continuing to take more of an active role in providing advice and support for both our fellow veteran members and also for all the newcomers that are coming on board as well... And thanks to you, you've provided me with both the confidence and faith that we all have a purpose to fulfill in the ability to make a positive difference in this world, especially during these troubling times... Needless to say, I cannot think of any better way to accomplish this by continuing to provide support for one another in both our daily lives and also for those of us here in our Mustang community on TMS

Hi Rocky!
Great, great photos man. Thank you for sharing. Some really great looking rides there for sure. Your car is looking clean and lean man.

How have you been feeling lately? All good?

Thank you, Tony... Believe it or not, I only put a total of 200 miles on the "06" GT last year.... Anyway, I seem to be feeling okay and my next urology exam will be this upcoming November...

Absolutely love the 64 Fairlane in the last pic. Thunderbolt style and look, got the 427 badges. If it does have an authentic 427 r code side oiler set-up I'd have loved to hear that thing.

There's a small private college near Rome GA called Berry college. It actually has the largest campus in the world, 27,000 acres donated and founded by Martha Berry. Amazing place. They used to have a massive Ford car show back in the 90s, every Ford you could imagine from the earliest to the newest. Saw Ford's there I'd never seen before in person.

One year a guy had a true authentic Thunderbolt drag car from the 60s, no replica, still in it's drag state, bigs and littles, bias ply slicks, sponsors still painting on.

He fired it up and I'll never forget the sound that came out of that thing. Big compression, big cam, open headers, it rattled the whole campus, people 200 yards around just stopped and looked like WTF is that. Will never forget that. Sent tingles down my whole body. That's why I love cars.

Twin '69 Chargers and more... Novas, Falcon,Fairlanes, GTOs, Chevelles, T-Bird, 71+ AMX Javelin, MGB, Mustangs, especially that very nice '67 fastback. Love the old city park big shade tree show! Oh and can't forget the firetrucks.

Yes indeed, Kevin, there are still some of us left who are normal people that still have normal lives...

If only I had the opportunity to catch the owner, I would've asked if it did have an authentic 427 r code, Lee!

No apology necessary, Lee! What matters most is that folks like us are able to reminisce and appreciate the classic muscle car era of the 1960's thru early 1970's

You're very welcome, Steve! I also liked all the cars you mentioned, as they also brought back many memories of my childhood as well... My favorite is the white "67" Mustang GT Fastback.
