Indeed it is.
I went for a quick drive to the grocery store this morning, and as I was driving through the parking lot, (what appeared to be) a mid-40s husband & wife, and quite possibly a mother/mother-in-law were walking past in a group. The wife nudged her oblivious husband and pointed at my car several times. The husband must've missed his morning coffee, as he sleepily looked at my car after about the 5th nudge-and-point. The wife looked like that was the most excitement she had seen in years.
I get the typical head turn, or the side-by motorist lustful gaze, but that was one of the most obvious (and entertaining) displays of rubbernecking I have seen yet.
