My '05 mustang: Redfire metallic
#1
I'm a newbie to the forums. I just got my car back from the custom shop. I got my windows tinted, put in a billet grille, fog light kit, and window louvres. Thanks to westcoastperformanceparts.com for the grille and fog light kit! Ya'll should check it out if ya'll have a v6.
My Car:
v6 (It's not a gt, but I don't really need one. I'm sure that they are really fun, but before this, I drove a 4 cylinder. So when I got this, I thought it was fast enough. lol)
IUP
My Color
Tan cloth interior
shaker 500
"16 chrome wheels (yeah ... I know. not very impressive. but with going a larger size, I would have to buy new tires as well. and I've already spent 1000 in upgrades....

nice car and congrats, but no such thing as "fast enough" once you go V8 you wont go back, youll experience it someday, but the car is looking sick, nice mods so far and welcome

Congrats, man! Welcome to the redfire club...=) Looks good!
Hehe, he's right. I came from a 4 banger also and I'm already used to the V8 (been almost a month) and have started modding. I actually say that exact same thing to people who ask me how I like the V8, "once you go V8, you'll never go back."
V6 is still awesome though. Isn't it like as fast as last year's GT? Also, I saw a Mustang mag that had a V6 in it that ran 10's.

I just want to thank everyone for the kind comments!
Stangscuba98a, your car looks awesome! Nice mods!
Yeah, the gts were a little more expensive than my price range. Plus, I am sure that I would be tempted to speed more than I already do in my mustang that I already have. I'm a college student with not much money; so, I don't need a ton of speeding tickets.
I got my louvres from the custom shop that installed my grille. However, westcoastperformanceparts.com has them ordered already paint. Their shipment of my grille took two weeks, but their parts are really nice!
Hmm... My wheels are MB design from Discount Tire (their exclusive brand). I could have gone bigger, but I think that they are nice for now... For all four wheels, it was 700 with installation. They're 16", but I will buy bigger wheels and tires in a year or so when I have the money. I make $7.25 an hour at circuit city ... so... I need to start being kind to my money.

Thanks again for the comments! Hope everyone in Houston (like me) will stay safe from Rita!
