I ordered my 05 3 weeks ago and it looks like it will be here a week early (first week in November). There is a huge problem, I have to sell my 1998 Cavalier Z24 first!! I have a for sale sign in the window and ads in 2 papers. I have had a couple of calls but nothing yet. I should have known better than by a Chev, let alone a Cavalier :bang:

If it doesn't go this weekend it is going to the local auction. I might even take it to a lot and see what kind of cash they will give me. THIS stinkS!!! I need to get about $6700 for it ( I am in Canada ) in order for the Mustang to be a reality. Man I have my fingers crossed, SOMEONE CALL ME AND BUY THE darn THING!

It is in great shape so the first to come and look at it should be impressed. If I don't get my 05 because of this darn car, I am goint to blow it up!

 

No way you will get your car in November. You have plenty of time to sell that gem.

I still dont have a VIN, and I am 4 weeks into my order... :cry:

 

The car was already ordered by the dealership long before, but I was able to get a deposit down in time to get the options and colours I wanted. I got an email from the GM and he said it should be here the first week in November (I say second week). It is being built Monday October 25. I had the VIN 3 days after I ordered it.

 

Is it a refundable deposit?

 

Did you list on autotrader?

Or maybe try ebay?

Don't be expecting your car next week, there are people that ordered months ago without their cars still.

 

i will be really pissed if yours comes in the same time mines does really makes me wish i would have waited to order now since it have been over 5 months and still have no car :bang: GRRRRRR

My thoughts exactly. I listed my car on autotrader and it sold within a week. The people that bought it drove 90 miles to see it and bought it the same day. Good Luck. Don't let that new Mustang slip away!!

 

do you have any idea what the dealership would give you on a trade in?

 

Use autotrader, I sold my car the frist day.

newspaper ads are useless, IMO
