Talking

I still can't believe that this happened to me. My family and I were on vacation in Michigan, and I decided to detour them through Detroit into Flat Rock. The timing must have been perfect, because we found 2 dozen or more 2005 pre-production cars in the Visitors parking lot. It was wild. I need to credit my youngest for taking the pictures, allowing me to roam around in total amazement. The car looks incredible in the daylight, beyond belief. Then, as we were leaving one of my kids starts running across the parking lot, and we could not figure out why. Turns out the camo-convertible was tucked in the corner of the lot WOW !!!

No doubt.. not doubt

That's down that street I was nervous about heading down. CRAP!!!

That's the vert mule I followed back in late March.

I'm heading to Toledo right now.. maybe on my way I'll make a stop at AAI.

Yeah, you just gotta have no fear of prosecution.

All in the name of our impatience!

Awesome...anybody think this might be the pool of cars being lent out to the mags for reviews???? There's too many of them to be a bunch of one-offs. They sure aren't worried about keeping them underwraps anymore...ahh look at that counter...24 days!!!!

We racked our brains all the way through Ohio trying to figure out why they had so many of these cars sitting in the visitors parking lot. The folks at AAI could have parked those cars anywhere, especially if they wanted to hide them. Each one was cleaned and spotless, inside and out. Most of them had little 3 ring binders sitting on the seats. They looked so good.

Amy, I hope you find them. I followed the signs for the visitors entrance. I know you will get some awesome pictures - we were a little apprehensive about ticking off the guards, so we were a bit timid. Now I wish we had taken more time and took pictures of every single car. The biggest problem was that I was in complete awe having found so many in one location - my mind was racing all over the place, and so was I lol

The access road is not blocked with a guard shack from my recollection of a visit there. os121, was that your experience?

Nice work!!

You folks are most welcome Tony, you are correct, there was no guard shack that prevented us from entering the visitors lot. And 05mach1, you are right about it being like a car show. lol. Ford/AAI did an excellent job of displaying their newest product

Looks like the whole color line-up was represented there, with the exception of Windveil Blue!
