Went and picked up new 2005 Mustang GT at my Local Ford dealer. Even though I was the second Mustang GT ordered at this dealership mine was the first to arrive late yesterday afternoon. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this car wow is such an understatement. I know you want pics and I will take some soon its been raining almost all of today. I posted a pic of the car at the dearlship in the service area last night in another post. When I got to the dealership this morning about 5 salespeople were hanging around the car that was cool the General Manager didn't let anybody other than the perp guy drive my car and when I got into for a test drive it had 6.8 miles on it that was great. The prep guy drives each car about 6 miles to see how the car is. I'll give a better report later.

Congratulations, Eric. I got mine today too and it was also the second one they ordered and first to take delivery. Too bad it was raining so hard today. Hope everything went well on the drive home.

Congrats! We had the same build week and VINs were separated by a couple hundred. Now, everytime I answer my phone I'll be hoping, is it "the call".

Sorry it's raining. That kind of takes the fun out of letting 'em feed.

I don't mind it when the prep guys drive 'em. . .

But I HATE IT when the PERP guys get behind the wheel!!

Just teasing, elwhit. If I had just picked up my Mustang I wouldn't be typing too well either!!

Cool! I've been checking around where I live in KY - Lexington (Paul Miller), Georgetown (Nolan), and Winchester (Cole) and haven't seen any yet. This just means they should be getting closer to me!!

I saw Paul Miller has one in stock, and Jack Kain ford has two redfire GTs in stock as of yesterday.

Marty, I ordered mine from Nolan. They had 3 allocated in the beginning and all went to pre-oreders. They said they were getting more allocations if you want to order one.
If you are going to buy one off the lot, Paul Miller should receive plenty, as well as the two at Jack Kain and Crossroads in Frankfort will have a GT and a V6. I have a feeling that they are going to want to charge over sticker for the ones on the lots.
My advice is to order one from Nolan (ask for Aaron). If you dont have a plan discount, they will charge only sticker price.

Cool! Thanks Steve! Good info and advice. I've bought all of my recent vehicles from Cole in Winchester (Mustang Club sponsor), so when the time comes, I'll give them the first option. Then I'll talk to Aaron. Congrats on your new car!!
